A Congratulations and Farewell Dinner for Deacon Nick and Lisa Cirell
A farewell dinner will be held at St. Michael, Emlenton on Friday May 16th at 5:30pm. Deacon Nick will be retiring and he and Lisa will be moving to Peek’n Peak on Memorial Day weekend. Please join us in sending them off on their new journey. Nick, we’ll miss you!
Holy Year Pilgrimage: Make a pilgrimage visit, whether individually or as a group (family, parish, co-workers, etc.), to either St. Peter Cathedral, Erie, or St. Leo Magnus Church, Ridgway. We are planning a van trip to St. Leo Magnus on May 15. There will be a sign-up sheet in the Gathering Area at Church. We can only accommodate 14 people for this trip. If you have questions, please contact Deacon Owen in the Parish Office. Additional trips are being planned for later in the year.

As we approach a monumental milestone, our church community is filled with joy and gratitude. This year marks the 100th anniversary of our beloved church, a century of faith, fellowship, and service. To commemorate this special occasion, we are excited to announce the creation of a new pictorial directory, capturing the essence of our vibrant congregation. The upcoming pictorial directory will serve as a beautiful keepsake, showcasing the faces and stories that make our church unique. This directory will not only help us connect names with faces but also celebrate the diversity and unity within our congregation. We invite all members to participate in this special project, ensuring that every family is represented.

Softball anyone? If you would be interested in playing for the Beloved Disciple Church softball team, please leave your name and phone number on the form located in the gathering area. Larry Wizorek will contact you with details. The Grove City area softball league is a local Church sponsored league and is a great way to have fun, fellowship and competition! Participants must be at least 14 years old.
Order of Christian Initiation for Adult: All members of the Parish and those interested in learning more about the Catholic Chruch are invited to learn more about the Catholic Church, what we believe and why we believe. We will study the Liturgy, Tradition, Sacraments and other topic of interest for new members and those that would like to refresh their understanding of the Catholic Church.
